A short 297 yard par 4 to ease into the course. A driver or iron off the tee leaves a short iron into a very generous green. Down wind, the big hitters can drive this green.

A genuine birdie opportunity to start the round.

An up-hill par 4 which is the signature hole of the course. It’s a tough drive from an elevated tee into the narrowest part of the fairway with out ofbounds right and trees left. Get a good drive away and have a mid iron in hand to try and hit a very narrow green that slopes from back to front. The green is guarded by bunkers short and right and left leaves and impossible up and down.

Be happy with a 5.

A slight dog leg left to right par 4. An accurate drive is required off the tee as the fairway slopes from right to left pulling stray drives into the trees left. There are also trees right. A mid iron approach will be required into a long narrow green which has a little ridge running down the centre. Missing left will leave a tricky up and down from well below the level of the green.

If in doubt, bail out to the right of the green.

The first of the par 3’s. Measuring 175 yards, this hole requires a lot of respect. The green is extremely shallow and there are two deep bunkers front and left. Go long and face a large drop off the back of the green.

If you manage to hit the green, watch out for the many subtle breaks.

A short par 5 with out of bounds down the right hand side from tee to green. Getting a good drive away will give the big hitters a crack at the green in two. The green is elevated, sloping from back to front. There is also a front bunker gathering anything that comes up short.

Leave your approach below the flag and a birdie is on the cards.

A dog leg left to right par 4. Avoid out of bounds to the right off the tee and have a mid to short iron from the middle of the wide fairway to the bowl shaped green.

Don’t come up short of the green and a good birdie opportunity awaits.

Take an iron off the tee for position or if the wind is coming over your right shoulder, have a go at driving this slight dog leg right to left par 4. Playing for position leaves a blind wedge shot to a severely sloping back to front green. There is just a small landing area in the middle of this green. Over spinning the approach shot leaves a long up-hill 2 putt. Missing long brings out of bounds into play.

Watch out for the tricky pin positions on this green.

Teeing from an elevated tee box, this long 202 yard par 3 usually requires a wood to reach a green that slopes from back to front. There is a drain running across the front of the green, not visible from the tee that gathers anything coming up short.

Keep the tee shot below the hole.

Taking an iron for position off the tee leaves a blind 2nd to the green. Take out the driver and try to carry the hill at the narrowest point of the fairway and you’ll have a little wedge approach. The green slopes from front to back and is guarded by bunkers on three sides.

Anything left, right or long of the pin will leave a very tricky putt.
