The Junior Convenor oversees the development and management of the club’s junior golf programs. This role is essential for promoting junior golf, ensuring compliance with child safety regulations, and integrating golf into local community initiatives. The Junior Convenor champions a safe, supportive, and progressive environment for young golfers to thrive within the club.

Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for junior/underage golfing & social affairs of the Club with full support of the Club Professional if applicable.
- Promote junior golf programmes/coaching & development amongst its members, potential members & in local community/schools.
- Work closely with the Management Committee to ensure all legal & regulatory requirements to protect children are in place including club safeguarding policies/procedures, Garda vetting and designated roles (i.e., club children’s officer & designated liaison person).
- Attend Golf committee meetings
